After an extensive volunteer recruitment process, the new Organisation Committee (OC) for the Parlement europeéen des lycéens (PEL) 2025 has been successfully selected. Let’s promote Europe (LPE) is proud to announce the diverse and dynamic team that will play a central role in bringing the 2025 edition of PEL to life. The Parlement européen des lycéens (PEL) is a project bringing together high school students from all over Europe, encouraging them to reflect upon the future of the European Union, to discover the functioning of the European institutions, to debate on international issues, and to propose solutions to European challenges. 

To ensure a smooth transition between editions, a core group of seasoned members remains part of the OC each year. Their continued involvement helps preserve the project's institutional knowledge and ensures consistency in our approach. At the same time, we actively seek new members to join the team, bringing in diverse skills and innovative perspectives that keep PEL evolving with each edition. This balance of experience and fresh enthusiasm is key to sustaining the initiative’s success and impact.

The recruitment process for the PEL 2025 OC saw a strong response from past participants, with many expressing their passion for continuing their involvement and contributing to the event's success. In addition to returning members, new recruits were selected from previous editions, ensuring a blend of experience and fresh perspectives.

The selection process included two rounds: an application submission followed by an online interview. Those who successfully passed the interview were chosen based on their leadership skills, motivation, and commitment to the values of PEL. This year’s committee is composed of passionate individuals ready to make a lasting impact on the future of Europe.

The OC will work primarily in a remote, collaborative environment, coordinating all aspects of the event—from logistics to content creation and participant engagement. With a mix of seasoned leaders and newcomers, this team is poised to create an inclusive, dynamic experience that reflects the diverse cultures and perspectives of Europe, while ensuring a meaningful and impactful event for all involved.

The new team is already hard at work, planning and organizing for PEL 2025. With their leadership and vision, this year’s event is poised to be the most impactful edition yet. We are excited to see how this team’s efforts will shape the future of PEL and continue to foster a strong, united Europe.
